Stark County court program given award

The Stark County Family Court is this year’s winner of the Judicial Administration and Legal Reform Committee Innovative Court Practices Award for its “Never-Married Parents Program.”

A constitutional amendment to change the way Ohio draws legislative and congressional district maps is on the ballot in November. Because of the amendment’s direct impact on the Ohio judiciary, the Ohio State Bar Association is urging voters to defeat the amendment.
