The Ohio Center for Law Related Education (OCLRE), the OSBA’s affiliate charged with promoting law-related education, has named a new executive director. Central Ohio attorney Lisa Eschleman, with 25+ years of work in the legal community and a passion for law-related education, will take the helm on August 1. While OCLRE is best known for its Mock Trial Program, it also hosts an array of programs for students and teachers throughout the year. Lisa would welcome an opportunity to talk with you. 

OSBA’s flagship member publication, the OSBA Report, is now available to members as an app for mobile devices including for i-phone and and Anroid devices.

Also, don’t forget to register for our annual Law & Media Conference—a must-attend for Ohio journalists.

The Law and Media Conference on Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, will be a day of stimulating discussions about hot media law topics including defamation, journalistic boundaries and access to information, sunshine laws, crisis communications and legal pitfalls associated with social media.
